Our goal: organisation of congresses, festivals and lectures in the field of or relating to computertechnology and society, as well as anything that is directly or indirectly relating or conducive to aforementioned intentions, all in the broadest sense possible.

  • Chairman

    aldert.hazenberg@hxxfoundation.nl

hwi_0532.jpg Aldert Hazenberg is an experienced project manager and business innovator. He combines his hands-on experience with large IT infrastructures and networks with a realistic view on business and software development. He worked at Prolin, one of the first Dutch dotcom companies and 7 years at Hewlett-Packard Managed Services division, among others. He now runs his own consultancy firm Blue Hair.

From 1996 onward he has been heavily involved in organizing hacker congresses in the Netherlands like HAL (2001), and What The Hack (2005), in roles that made him responsible for network infrastructure, logistics and as all-round coordinator.

He is involved with various online communities, opensource projects and institutes such as ISOC.

  • Secretary

    mischa.peters@hxxfoundation.nl

mischa.jpg Mischa Peters first witnessed the colourful lights of the delivery room’s hospital equipment in 1973. As years went on, his internet career was kick started at XS4ALL in 1995. During this time, he was partly responsible for the organisation of HIP97. Eventually he proceeded to work for various US based companies, currently holding a position at Foundry Networks. In his spare time, Mischa likes to burn elbow grease with his company High5!, providing a base for on- and offline networking, hosting, co-locating, consulting, on top of feeding the hamsters that power everything. Postfix Admin is probably his most noticeable achievement in the quagmire of web-based apps, used by hundreds if not thousands of companies worldwide.
